Policies and Disclaimers

Read this carefully…

By registering for a Performance on Demand Shooting Course you affirm you are not prohibited by Federal, State or Local laws from possessing a firearm or ammunition. You also attest you are a US Citizen or non-resident legal alien who is not prohibited from obtaining firearms training or technical information in violation of ITAR (222 C.F.R. Parts 120-130). Performance on Demand Shooting is not responsible, nor has access to government records required to conduct through background checks on every student who attends firearms training. We believe the vast majority of people are good, law-abiding, freedom-loving citizens and treat people in the way most would want to be treated. However, if it is discovered you attending firearms training illegally, we will fully cooperate with all law enforcement investigations and prosecutions.

If we believe you are attempting to obtain firearms training for illegal or nefarious purposes, we will remove you from class and will report you to the proper law enforcement authorities.

Minors must generally be at least 14 years of age to attend firearms training with Performance on Demand Shooting, and must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or adult designee. Minors have various maturity levels, and we may deny training to anyone we believe is unable to safely handle a firearm.

We conduct most of our general training classes in a manner that allows us to work with a broad range of student skills in a class. However, we reserve the right to temporarily remove any student from the class, or alter how the student is engaged in the class (i.e. allow them to only run “dry” repetitions) in order to keep the class up to speed or allow the class to continue safely. This is not done to put down or diminish the training value anyone gets from the class, and it actually provides a tremendous learning opportunity for students who approach it with a positive attitude.

We reserve the right to remove anyone from training for any reason we deem necessary. If we believe you are under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, legal prescription or OTC drugs that impair your ability to handle a firearm, or are suffering from another impairment which makes your ability to safely handle a firearm questionable, we will remove you from class.

At all times in class, you are expected to obey the fundamental rules of firearms safety including: 1) treat all firearms as if they were loaded, 2) do not point your firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy including yourself and other people, 3) keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you have made the decision to shoot and 4) know your target and what is beyond it. If you shoot someone or yourself, it is YOUR FAULT. Everyone is responsible for safety, and if you see something you believe is unsafe you should immediately bring it to the attention of the instructor.

You are expected to obey the commands of instructors at all times. A full safety brief is conducted at the beginning of class. Minor safety violations will generally result in a warning. Repeated minor violations of instructor commands or safety rules may result in the student having their participation in class being limited, or removal from the class. An egregiously unsafe act may not warrant a verbal warning, and may result in your immediate removal from training even on the first violation.

All students must sign a liability waiver and obey by instructor and range rules.

REFUND POLICY

Anyone who wishes to cancel their spot in class will be granted a full refund outside of 30 days from the start of the training. Refunds will generally not be given within 30 days from the start of a training. If you wish to transfer your spot to another person, you must contact us before doing so. If you must cancel within 30 days of a training, and the training class is full, and we are able to get your spot filled, we will refund your course tuition. Please understand there are many costs associated with running a firearms training business. We simply cannot afford to stay in business when students cancel the last minute before the class and a replacement cannot be found.

Please contact us if you have questions before registering.
